The Miracle Of Studying Writing 2

Writing 2 is one of my subjects in this third semester. It is taught by Mr.Muhammad Anshar and Ms.Leni Marlina. Studying Writing 2 with Mr.Muhammad Anshar is running well. He just ask my friends and I prepare our self by reading the material that we will discuss in the class and write a diary of daily activity. In the other hand, studying with Ms.Leni Marlina, whom I will call Ms.Lina, needed hard effort  because she gave me many assignments and also with the requirements. She was a perfectionist lecturer that I have ever met. Talking about having many assignments, actually it is usual for college students but I think Ms.Lina gave over than usual. So, I get difficulties to manage my time to do all the assignments with the requirements too. You know, this third semester is the busiest time that I have ever gotten during this time. Even though Ms.Lina gave many assignments that made the class so terrible, actually I could get many advantages from this class.

First of all, Ms.Lina always asked the students to write essays of topics that we would learn. Before we did it, we had to write the outline. After that, she asked me to make revisions of my essays after asking friends to give or write comments in my essays. The miracle of this activity is I could know my mistake and make it better. The first time I wrote the essay about my experience in Writing 1. I found many mistakes in it and because of my friends’ comments I could revise my essay become the true.

Then, she also asked me to post my essays that have been revised into my blog. Actually, I did not know how to operate blog, but since I studied with Ms.Lina I was conscious that it was the time I care about my own creativity especially about my writing skill. She treated the students like real writers, yes because I remembered she ever said that she wanted her students become great writers and  really have good skill in writing. Even though she was very busy, she always gave us time to ask about the assignments and corrected essays that students wrote. She mentioned what we should change or add in order it becomes very well.

In her pregnant condition, she had to advanced the class from sixteenth meetings in four months to be a month. It is because she wanted to leave and preparing her baby born. Finally, her decision made me surprise. She combined my class with two another classes in LD1 class. I was worried about it because the class so small for more than sixty students in it. I felt it was so crowded and sometimes so noisy. In the other situation, I got my self more confidence because I practice a lot to perform in front of many other students. I think Ms.Lina’s teaching strategy was successful. I could understand what she taught. I pass every process that help my writing better.

Until now, I have created four writing projects. They were about experience, narrative, discussion, and review texts. All of them are my best writing because I had done many steps and long process to create them. I wrote them from outlines to be essays, asking comments from friends until I wrote the third revision of each essays at the last. It needed hard effort and spent much money. Whereas, I was out of money at the time. I remembered what Ms.Lina said, “You must have money for shopping but not for buying books or something like that.” I do not want to be like that.

In conclusion, whatever Ms.Lina did to me and the other, it just for preparing us to be great in writing, so we also can be great writer. Suddenly I am conscious that I have created great essays. In fact, I can do that. I hope Ms.Lina appreciate my hard effort as well. Something that I have to say to Ms.Lina is, “Thanks a lot for everything you give because it makes me know how wonderful the miracle of hard effort is.”

The Persuit of Happyness Film Review

            The Persuit of Happyness is a Sony Pictures Company’s film which uses the factual story about someone who is successful in brokerage firm and he starts his carrer from zero to the top of his carrer, this movie took place in San Fransisco, 1981. The main character of this film is Will Smith who can play his characters well. It starts when Will Smith as Chris feel many troubles in his life that makes him try to escape from the problems and he makes hard effort to do it. Until he does the examination fastly and the next day, he finds that he is worked as a broker in the Dean Witter company. He is successful to pass the difficulties moment of his life and the chance is the first of his carrer. After beginning his carrer in Dean Witter, Chris Gardner went on to found the investment firm Gardner Rich in 1987. In 2006, Chris Gardner sold a minority stake in his brokerage firm in a multi-million dollar deal. The next character is Christoper which is played by Jarden Christopes Syre Smith. He plays as a little boy who is poorly have to feel whatever his father feel. His acting can makes us feel what he feels. All the characters of this film make this film full of suspense about what something will be.

            All in one, Pursuit of Happyness’s cinematography, production design and visual effects are award-worthy. Music also propels the movie. It presents good values for the audiences that can inspire everyone who watch it.
